Food for Art: Georges Le Chevallier S2E1

Making carne mechada-shredded beef as part of the Pabellón Criollo - Venezuelan National Dish with Banu Valladares.

I speak to internationally renowned artist Georges Le Chevallier. He will take us through his art using the Shibui esthetic and chef’s dishes as inspiration, along with using food and spices to create his painting. Georges Le Chevallier had his first major solo exhibition twenty-five years ago. Since then his paintings have been exhibited extensively nationally and internationally in distinguished galleries and museums. He is the youngest son of a French father and Puerto Rican mother.
